Straight from Swindon

I am writing this post just with the intention of commencing with my blogging career and put something on my blog, that has been crying for my attention for a long time.. Lazy me! Poor blog! Never mind. Its never late to start and I am starting with a bang.
I am here in UK at Cranfield University and I've realised one thing. Its just the problem of enthusiasm for India and intention. I tried to find a reason how nearly every Indian can somewhow survive once he/she comes to a foreign land and start toiling day and night at work. Coudn't the same story be replicated back home. I have seen people all normal in India, perform exceedingly well once they are here. Its just amazing and I felt it too. I was in for a surprise as I came here. People are really diligent and everyone is so content. But then what's wrong with my country? Is it just the population and the law of constant proportions holding true or is it a desirable change that was lost somewhere in the centuries of servitude and suppression. But then are we so laid back that we have lost our hopes of improving the so called "System" that we have left the hopes on a rusted government and obsolete minded policticians and are merrily watching the country go into anarchy and ethical crisis? The attitude is not reasonable, leave alone condemning it. The underlying factor is the lethargic environment in India, in every sphere, may it be social, political or judicial. We back home have not even experienced what real work could be like, we don't really know our limits. When we go abroad, we see people outperforming and its the greatest learning experience one can have. A live demonstration in your own skin! We adapt and then of course Darwin rules. I believe every human being has an amazing capability to adapt himself to possibly any situation that he is faced to. And then our efficiency increases dramatically. This is what I believe, is the antidote to the mammoth problem in India. I don't say this as if I am separated from it , but because I am concerned and I have myself felt stifled and sometimes irritated. But the answer lies not outside but inside. It lies in initiative, in competition, in exposure, in motivation and it all comes back to self improvement and social . Its all a cumulative effort. We must not wait for a new Gandhi. The change starts from the moment we feel that something is wrong somewhere and needs to be improved.
Well all this an experiment , albeit a big one because I am not sure of its macro level effect but its my belief that it will work.Well better late than never. And if it succeds, it will be contagious and it will spread the fragrance to everybody's character.
Well this may be one of the many reasons, why I christened my blog as "Seven Skies". Seven is my birthdate and is the number I endear the most and the Seven beatiful notes are a cherished part of my life. The seventh sky is where I want to see my country and my countrymen including me. It symbolises a resolve for action and a wishful thought for our future.
Well, that's all for now and I promise to come up with more later( probably the lighter stuff!). Till then digest this work of a genius: " Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds".
Anyways welcome to my Blog!
